FROM 17 TO 27 JUNE 2021

MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS 10

POSSIBILITY TO REACH BODØ BY PLANE + MOTORCYCLE OR BY LAND TRANSPORT

1° day

Thursday 17 June Italy - Bodo (- / - / D)

Departure from Italy with scheduled flight to Bodø. Arrival and free transfer to the hotel. Here, the participants will meet with our Go Biker Staff and we will have an initial trip’s briefing and our motorcycles will be waiting for us at the hotel. Welcome dinner and overnight stay.

2° day

Friday 18 June Bodo - Abisko National Park (B / - / -) km 380

Breakfast at the hotel. Our journey towards North begins today. Our first stop will be along the inland roads of Norway, until we enter Sweden to arrive in the Abisko National Park along the huge Torneträsk lake, that is about 60 km long. The environment changes abruptly and takes us to the immense spaces of the southern Finnmark taiga. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

3° day

Saturday 19 June Abisko National Park - Kautokeino (B / - / -) 390 km

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a full immersion in the Finnmark environment. We will cross forests, stretches of water and grasslands that have always been the territory of the Sami people. Political borders only exist only to be conventional: we will be able to go from Sweden to Finland and then back to Norway. We will then visit Kautokeino, which is considered the capital of Sami culture. Hotel accommodation overnight stay.

4° day

Domenica 20 giugno Kautokeino - Kirkenes (B / - / -) km 394

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will aim towards the extreme north-east. We will cross the northernmost part of Finnish Lapland for a long stretch. The landscapes fade into increasingly low and scattered woods, dotted with an infinity of lakes and small streams, until it opens onto the Barents Sea. The border with Russia is very close and gives these places an even more extreme touch, in case it were needed. We will stop in Kirkenes, the main center of the area together with Vadsø. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

5° day

Monday 21 June Kirkenes - Kjollefjord (B / - / -) km 350 or km 670

Breakfast at the hotel. This area is the only one in Norway that climatologists consider arctic climate. The Gulf Stream is unable to heat it and the average temperatures throughout the year are rather low. Based on the weather conditions, we will be able to decide whether to attempt the excursion to Vadsø - Hamningberg, which brings the total to 670 km, or head directly towards Cape Nordkinn (total amount of 350 km). After a coastal stretch, the Nordkinn Peninsula road climbs to a plateau offering lunar landscapes studded with a myriad of small lakes. A tiny isthmus allows us to move to the northernmost part of the peninsula, until we reach Slettnes Fyr, the Gamvik lighthouse which represents the northernmost point of continental Europe (Cape Nordkynn). Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

6° day

Martedì 22 giugno Kjollefjord - Nordkapp - Honningsvåg (B / - / -) km 450

Breakfast at the hotel. Return to the E6 for a short stretch until we reach the junction for Cape North. The E69 offers mesmerizing views of the Porsangerfjord and greetings from many worldwide motorcyclists, returning south after having fulfilled their lifelong dream. A spectacular underwater tunnel will allow us to pass over Magerøya, the island on which the North Cape is located. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

7° day

Wednesday 23 June Honningsvåg - Tromsø (B / - / -) km 490

Breakfast at the hotel. We will cross the Porsangerfjord again this time towards South and we will return to the E6, which at these latitudes can still be considered in its "mythical" stretch. In fact, not only does it represent a point of arrival allowing many motorcyclists to reach Nordkapp, but it also offers beautiful landscapes. The very scarce presence of cities or other settlements gives these places a decidedly "arctic" purity. We reach Tromsø in the most spectacular way, that is by slipping among the island-mountains that can be glimpsed from the E6 thanks to two ferries, mostly used by local motorists, which in fact are a real mini-cruise. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

8° day

Thursday 24 June Tromso - Svolvaer (Lofoten islands) (B / - / -) Km. 498

Breakfast at the hotel. We will continue riding south towards the Lofoten islands, a naturalistic oasis worldwide renowned for its biodiversity. Overnight stay at the hotel, near the traditional fishermen' stilt houses and if we want, we will be able to have dinner in the restaurant of the marina. Overnight stay.

9° day

Friday 25 June Svolvaer (Lofoten islands) (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will allow ourselves a day of absolute rest ad relax, with a boat trip through the fjords or having fun while shopping in the center of Svolvaer, the largest village in the archipelago. We will be able to admire the astonishing white sand beaches.. a sight not to be missed. If you are felling tough, you will have the chance to go as far as "A", the extreme village of the island. Overnight stay at the hotel.

10° day

Saturday 26 June Svolvaer - Bodo (B / - / D) km. 280

Breakfast at the hotel. Still riding along the rugged Norwegian cliffs, we will return to Bodo. Arrival in the afternoon at the hotel where we will leave our motorcycles to be brought back to Italy. To round off our wonderful trip, we will have a farewell dinner in a local center, offered by our Go Biker Staff.

11° day

Sunday 27 June Bodo - Italy (B / - / -)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free transfer to the airport and departure for Italy by scheduled flight. Our journey has come to an end, it is time to say our goodbyes and head back home.
