You will leave Birminghan to reach Montgomery, the capital of the state of Alabama which played a decisive role both in the war of secession and in the birth of the American civil rights movement. Birthplace of Nat King Cole, one of the most important jazz musicians in history, Montgomery represents one of the most important historic cities in America; here you can visit the museum of Rosa Parks and Dexter Avenue, where the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Church is located from which Martin Luther King made his famous speech.
