Appointment at about 7 pm - at the Port of Pozzuoli for the subsequent embarkation for Ischia. Arrival in Ischia and accommodation at the Hotel Villa Maria near the port. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel for a tour of the green island in the direction of Lacco Ameno where we will make a short stop to see the famous "mushroom" - (a rocky boulder emerging from the water whose shape suggests its name); from here we will continue on to Forio, making a diversion to the Belvedere Zano where we will be able to admire the beautiful panorama of the west coast of the island. We will resume our march in the direction of the municipality of Forio where, once we arrive, we will take a stroll through the historic centre; from here, we will continue on to the village of Sant'Angelo where we will stop for a well-deserved refreshment. Free lunch. After lunch we will move on to Serrara to return, making a few bends, to our hotel to prepare for the evening in the centre of Ischia porto. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. The morning will see us bid farewell to the Green Island for the Pozzuoli landing stage. We will travel along the road which, passing through Posillipo, will take us to the seafront/historical centre of Naples. We will make a stop along this route to admire the wonderful panorama of the Gulf of Naples from one of the city's best-known terraces. Upon arrival in the centre, on the Neapolitan seafront, accommodation at the 4* Royal Continental Hotel. Free lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we will immerse ourselves in the beating heart of Naples by visiting Piazza Plebiscito, Via toledo Naples soterranea, etc.etc. on foot. At 19:00 we meet for an aperitif in the Borgo marinaro and dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight stay
Breakfast at the hotel. The morning will see us reach one of the most evocative and panoramic places in the city, which is Castel S. Elmo, which we will visit together with the Charterhouse and the San Martino Gardens. Back in the saddle again to reach Vietri sul Mare and from there start riding along the Amalfi Coast and, after a few kilometres, we will descend towards the port of Cetara where we will stop for lunch. After we have refreshed ourselves, we get back on the bike to resume the road that will take us towards the Sorrento Coast. A customary sweet stop in Minori to delight our palate and then continue on to the bay of Nerano where we will be able to admire (and almost touch) the stacks of the island of Capri. Afterwards we can stop to taste pizza in Vico Equense at Università - da Gigino. Hotel accommodation : Overnight stay at the 4* Hotel Oriente
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will head for the city of Portici, the historic site of numerous Bourbon villas and the Royal Palace - now the University of Agriculture, to visit the Pietrarsa National Museum of State Railways with its vintage locomotives. After admiring this place full of history, we will head towards the crater of Vesuvius where we will say goodbye by tasting some specialities overlooking the "terrace of the two gulfs". Ritual farewells and return to our homes.
