Tunisia is a large garden of which perhaps some paths are known along the golden beaches or through the sea of dunes. A country that will never cease to surprise you in any place and in any season. With over ten million inhabitants the smallest country in northern Africa today has much more than the bright sky, the clear water, the beaches and the richness of its thousand-year history. Its spell will have captured you and Tunisia will then offer all its wonderful diversity. Tunisia presents itself with these splendid words, now it’s up to us to go and discover it in its most characteristic corners, with our motorcycles, friends and travel companions….

Our journey starts today. We will meet with the participants and the Tour Leader on motorcycle at the port of Genoa at least two hours before departure, settled for 3:00 pm. Checking documents and Check-In. Accommodation in a double cabin, dinner on board included.
Breakfast and lunch on board. Arrival in Tunis scheduled for 3:30 pm. Once the customs formalities have been completed we will head towards the hotel in Tunis’ city center. Free time available, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will head south, in the heart of Tunisia; we will reach the ancient Islamic city of Kairouan, where we will stop to visit the town and then continue until the archeological site of Sbeita, that we will reach in the afternoon. Hotel accommodation. We will then visit the archeological site before heading back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. We continue heading south, towards the astonishing mountain oasis.
We will visit Mides e Tamerza, among the most beautiful mountain oasis that can be gazed in Tunisia, perched on mountains made of granite, at the edges of millenary canyons.
In places where water is an extremely rare commodity, it is almost unclear how it is possible to find waterfalls and vegetation that you will never even think of in these kind of places.
The scenery is breathtaking: walking among rocks, seeing plants sprout and hearing water gush out of nowhere.
We will then continue along the unmissable “Rommel Track” the hypothetical escape route built by Germans, in case of an english attack, during World War II, reaching Tozeur in the late afternoon. Hotel accomodation, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure with destination Nefta: here we will be able to visit the village that was built by the Americans, in the very middle of the desert, for the “Star Wars” movie set. Here, we will be able to experience a first glimpse of desert. After that, we will continue along by crossing the salt water lake of Chott El-Jerid, with stops along the way to admire its splendor. We will reach Douz in the afternoon… the gateway of the "Grande Erg". Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Relaxing day, we will have the possibility to dedicate ourselves to massages, swimming pool, to visit of the Douz Souk, or alternatively a nice motorcycles or quad ride into the desert, the Grande Erg.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will leave for one of the most fascinating destination of our journey: Ksar Ghilane Oasis. Here we will have the possibility of hiring a quad and have fun on the dune.. alternatively we can do it with our own motorcycle!
We will continue in the afternoon until we reach Matmata, in the heart of Tunisinian Mountain, characteristic city for its barbarian dwellings, located underground, inside huge holes, that in the past gave to its populations the possibility of hiding. Hotel accomodation and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Our morning will be completely dedicated to the visit of Matmata. Following our visit, we will head south to discover the precious sites of Chenini, the centenary fortifications (Ksar), the Dahar mountains, and then ending our journey at Tatauine. Arrival and accomodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. A slightly longer ride awaits us today in order to get back North. Before reaching the coast for our last overnight stay, we will have the chance to visit the “Colosseum” of El JEM and then continuing until Monastir.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit of Monastir and then we will ride our motorcycle for our last stop: Tunisi, where we will board the ship that will bring us home. Handling of customs formalities. Check In at the ship and accommodation in assigned cabins. Departure scheduled for 6:00 pm. Dinner on board and overnight stay.
Breakfast and lunch on board. Navigation and arrival in Genoa scheduled for 7:00pm, where our journey will come to an end. See you at the next adventure.. on the road!
